Molly has a degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Social Work. She spent many years working on issues related to homelessness and street-living youth in the United States. She first traveled to Southeast Asia in 2001 and fell in love with the region. Her encounters with several children who had witnessed or personally experienced the horrors of forced prostitution, HIV/AIDS, acid attacks, landmines and extreme poverty led her to found Stop Exploitation Now! with other concerned individuals. She hopes to do all she can to support victims and fight the root causes of abuse and poverty.
Rattana N. - Secretary (Rattana Noeun)
Rattana earned a degree in Economics at the University of Washington. She is involved in several civic and charitable organizations working to provide education, health care, and human rights protection to Cambodians in need. Rattana joined the Stop Exploitation Now! board in 2007.
Pat R. - Advisor (Pat Roe)
Pat holds a degree in Political Science from Seattle University. After spending several years as a manager in the telecommunications industry, she left her job in 2007 to work for an NGO in Cambodia. A founding member of the Stop Exploitation Now! board, Pat resigned before departing for Southeast Asia but remains involved in an advisory capacity.
Ryker L. - Technical Advisor (Ryker Labbee)
Ryker left his consulting job in 2003 to travel and prepare for a second career. He quickly developed an interest in the history and culture of Southeast Asia and was drawn into the network of organizations working to solve problems in the developing world. He has remained involved since. Ryker earned a master's degree in International Affairs from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and recently returned from a stint living in Damascus, Syria. |
